SEEC Lab awarded two grants in the fourth UREP cycle

SEEC lab members, petroleum engineering faculty, undergraduate students (Hussein Jichi, Abdulrahman Al Kaabi, Issa Odehahmed, and Mohammad Zaid) and RasGas have been awarded a grant to investigate horizontal open hole conditions and technology relevant to advancing Qatar’s North field. In the same UREP cycle, SEEC lab members, mechanical engineering faculty, and undergraduate students (Dani Wannous, Omar Abdallah, Talal El-Awar, Ahmed El Ghamrawy, and Mustafa Hallawa) have been awarded a grant to develop a wind driven sensor platform for environmental analysis applications.
